Bridging the Gap: UCW’s Coaching Intensive for Post-Pandemic Collaboration
UCW New Campus
Who is UCW?
UCW is an innovative business and technology-oriented, teaching-focused institution in Canada, offering applied undergraduate and graduate degrees for domestic and international students. Recognizing the challenges of post-pandemic hybrid work, UCW’s Student Affairs and Registrar’s Office sought a solution to address communication breakdowns, siloed working, and collaboration struggles within and across departments.
What Was the Challenge?
The transition to a hybrid work environment following the pandemic amplified issues in communication and teamwork. Staff faced difficulty aligning around shared goals, and there was a noticeable disconnect between self-perception and workplace behavior. UCW needed a program that could strengthen communication, collaboration, and team cohesion, fostering a culture of alignment and inclusivity.
Customized Coaching Program: Tailored for Transformation
To address these challenges, Ken Cappie and his team designed a 4-week hybrid coaching intensive focused on improving interdepartmental communication and collaboration.
